Dr. Jaffer has built her clinical career around caring for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic conditions, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, hormone-related concerns, insulin resistance, and other chronic health conditions. Her clinical philosophy is rooted in the understanding that successful treatment requires more than medication alone. She emphasizes patient education, prevention, close follow-up, and practical lifestyle strategies that patients can realistically maintain over time.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Union University and completed specialty training in endocrinology through Duke University. Over the course of her career, she has served patients in respected healthcare settings including Methodist Healthcare in Memphis, Baylor Scott & White Health in the Dallas/Plano area, and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Sugar Land, Texas. Through these roles, she developed broad experience in endocrine and metabolic care while managing a wide range of patient needs with compassion, clinical precision, and consistency.
